Project Overview
For many years, My Catholic Faith delivered (MCFD), a Catholic technology company, was dual purposed. A big portion of their offering was course content that the business had created mostly eternally. The other portion was an advanced Learning Management System (LMS) specifically created for the Catholic parishes and dioceses. When MCFD was small this was fine but as both offerings grew the need to separate them became more apparent. Eventually it was decided that MCFD would become what was termed MCFD's Formation HUB, which would be utilized specifically for selling the content created by MCFD, as well as many of the different dioceses and partners. The LMS was to become the technology side of the business and would became another brand/site called Catholic Faith Technologies (CFT).

MCFD had for years crafted an effective sales process to get their foot in the door and then showcase the many different advantages of the LMS software in person. With CFT they wanted to continue that very specific process but now needed a site that would really just help establish credibility to the LMS and this new brand. Many large dioceses had adopted the learning platform, and the sales team really just wanted a site to showcase how a few of these very prominent dioceses utilized the LMS. They found it was enough to get them to the next level of consideration and ultimately close the deal.

Getting Our Foot in the Door
So for the most part the sales team really had a good idea of what they wanted with the site. Really it was just putting it in a simple manor that could quickly be reviewed. We didn't want the site to be very large, just simple and to the point. The details of the system were best to be sold in person to the client where we could answer questions with many specific stories of how we solved similar problems for other similar clients with our LMS. The company struggled for years with what should be the priority of the site and this solution finally help resolve all of that. Separating the sites also made it very easy for the clients to digest what exactly we were trying to sell them. The site was designed in roughly two weeks. I built the site in roughly three days, one of which was just ensuring it worked very well responsively as it was highly probable this would be seen on a smaller devices. Overall it was successful site and served its purpose well.
